Mariah Bentley grew up amongst the redwoods and creeks of Northern California where she developed a love for the magic of nature and space, which can be felt through her art.
She has lived and studied art on the Southern California coast for the past twenty years.
Mariah is a mixed media artist with a focus on watercolors, collage and urban sketch. Mariah is a member of the Buenaventura Art Association and Ventura County Plein Air Painters. She regularly shows her art at the Bell Arts Factory, Carpinteria Art Center and Open Door Studios in Oxnard.
She is a stay-at-home mom of two young boys. Mariah’s goal through her art is to instill a love for creativity in her children through leading by example and in the process becoming who she has always wanted to be.
